Treecreds is a 'profit-for-purpose' organisation dedicated to saving threatened primary forests around the world. Our objective is to reduce the impact of climate change through the promotion of carbon-funded Avoided Deforestation.
Operating in the voluntary and compliance carbon markets, Treecreds can assist in the calculation, reduction, marketing and offsetting stages of our clients' emission reduction programs. We are committed to working with you to implement effective and creative sustainable business practices.
Treecreds founders want to raise awareness
Treecreds was founded in 2008 with a primary motivation of reaching out to a diverse audience on the importance of climate change issues and the inherent role of avoided deforestation. Its founders bring together a unique set of capabilities, contacts and passion to facilitate sustainable events ranging from music festivals and performances to corporate meeting and using various platforms to promote avoided deforestation projects.
Measure/assess/reduce and then offset
Treecreds offer the full suite of carbon reduction and offset services and encourages organisations to adopt and readopt these services within their allocated budget. By repeating the process of measuring, calculating, reducing, educating and offsetting, it has been Treecreds experience that more efficient and sustainable business practices can be achieved.
